CHAIR OF ATOMHAGEN

Dr.  FRED ROOZEBOOM

Dr. Roozeboom is Professor Emeritus at the University of Twente and a globally recognized leader in ultrathin-film technology, semiconductor processing, spatial ALD, 3D integration, and microsystems innovation.

His career spans ExxonMobil, Philips Research/NXP, TNO-Holst Centre, and academia. He has authored 200+ publications, holds 50+ US patents, and is a Fellow of ECS and AVS.

In 2023, he received the ECS Gordon E. Moore Medal and the Gerard & Anton High-Tech Star Award, recognizing his lifetime achievements in solid-state science and technology.
